ScholarCardz is a discount card program started by Fat Hat Design. The site is meant to target the school organizations that are wishing to utlilize a fundraising program that cost nothing to set up and provides a 40-50% commission on each card sold.

VisionEdge Marketing
Vision Edge Marketing is a marketing research company that we have had an extended relationship with for several years. They wanted to update their site, enhance their brand while building a site that is very content heavy. Through the use of a grid system, color blocks and a sprinkling of images were able to give them exactly what they wanted.

MetaClin, a clinical research firm in Austin, TX was looking to establish and enhance their branding and web presence.

The Ambrose Company
The Ambrose Company focused on improving the business of software by aligning business, IT, and management on software projects through their training programs. Their logo is made up of a hexagon and it provided the basis for the header images and the color palette.

Vintage IT Services
Vintage offer managed IT services for small and medium sized businesses. Using color gradients, we accomplished the clean design they wanted. Using the silhouettes lets you complete the picture in your mind.

Advance Restaurant Finance
ARF's site is a simple, but elegant solution. Imagery was added by randomly presenting the user with a different restaurant related image in the header on each page.

Teknotics offers server monitoring for small and medium size businesses. They wanted an site that was not like most technology companies; loaded with greys and blacks. We took advantage of the colors in their logo and went for it. We love it when clients aren't afraid of color.

360 Merchant Capital
360 Merchant Capital is a  provider of alternative funding for small and mid-sized businesses. Using a rotaing image animation on the front allowed for a design that evolved as the reader went through the content.

Personal Santa Greetings wanted to turn a seasonal hobby into a working business and bring their idea to the web. There are similar sites to be sure, but Personal Santa Greetings offers a wider variety of stationery and letter styles to differentiate themselves from the competition.

Their goal for this new site was to streamline the data gathering process for their form letters and to accept online payments. Fat Hat Design's solution was to integrate our Padlock script with a custom-built PayPal-based shopping cart. Now, PSG staff can download all letter information through a simple file download in their admin panel and use Microsoft Word's Mail Merge function to build their form letters within minutes.

In 2000, Matt Sitra Custom Homes, Inc. was started. Since then, Matt has completed numerous projects, both large and small, in the Austin area. Matt wanted to create a web site that showcased his outstanding work and which could also function as a communication channel with his home owners.

Producer Supply Co. is a Dripping Springs, Texas-based provider of quality supplies for vineyards, wineries and farmers in the Southwest with in-house inventory deliver quality products, with reduced freight prices in a short time frame.

Fat Hat Design provided a clean, stately design to help this new business look bigger and better than the competition. Future plans call for an e-commerce features.

First Texas Olive Oil
First Texas Olive Oil Company is a family-run business, specializing in fresh olive oil and other fresh foods. First Texas Olive Oil wanted a new web site to showcase their products, recipes, the history of olive oil and of course, to allow customers to purchase their products online.

Fat Hat Design crafted a unique and colorful Web site design for them and built a custom e-commerce site using the PayPal shopping cart. Since our initial design, FTOOC has outgrown their current store and Fat Hat Design is working with them to create a more robust and feature-rich store with multiple payment options.

Provenio Group
In preparation for a nationwide release of their behavior modification and social skill training program for educational institutions, the Provenio Group asked Fat Hat Design to update their existing site. Their primary concern was that the site be easy to navigate and read.

This was accomplished by using a structured home page that separated different topics into boxes with easy-to-skim headlines. We also used drop-down menus to make the entire site accessible from any page. The interior pages of their site were laid out in two-column format to allow for additional cross-selling space while keeping the main content easy to read.

The online store includes a shopping cart, shipping tables with access to UPS, FedEx and USPS shipping rates, multiple payment options (credit card, check, Authorize.net, Verisign, 2checkout.com), inventory tracking and more.
